Shannon Whitelock is an Illustrator currently based in Portsmouth, UK. Recently graduated from Winchester School of Art where she received a second class honour (upper division) in graphic design: Illustration.
Her passion for drawing and creating started when she was child, inspired by fantasy films and books like Harry Potter and Alice in wonderland.Shannon likes to focus on the strong characters she sees on the screen and in real life. Even though her work may not always directly link to the fantasy style she loved when she was a child it still inspires her to look into different cultures and other creative fields while always staying curious.
Her work encourages her audience to always be curious and kind to themselves and others. With a variety of styles from detailed tattoo-like line drawings to bright colourful, 70s flower power narratives that can take you back in time.
